I believe the area you describing is also called the "middle of nowhere". Looks like you would be at least 2 hours from Knoxville or Lexington, and more to Nashville. There are folks out there, but not any large concentrations. Good luck.
You might want to be more specific about your location. KY and TN are very WIDE states, you could be on the border and depending on where be several hours away from another border dweller. At least specify east, west, or middle.
