Other Cities
I assume you are in a city that doesn't have it's own regional board, since you are posting in "other cities" If you do have a regional board, try posting there. If not, maybe post back here with the city name and someone might know something. Do be careful with agencies. There are some reputable ones and a lot of bad ones, depending where you are. You might also try posting on the ISO board, and maybe the newbie board. I definitely suggest you check out the newbie board. Even if you don't post there, read the last 5 or ten pages of that forum and you will find lots of useful information for newbies. also be sure to check out the self help section there. Also depending where you are in the country, there are other hobby forums and boards, that are much more popular than TER. TER is big in some cities/areas, but not all. The other forums can not be mentioned here, but can be by PM. Good luck!
I just saw your post on the newbie board and all your replies. So I guess that part of my earlier advice is moot Looks like you actually posted there before here. Anyway I think you got a lot of good advice on that thread. We still need to know what city or area you are in to give you more help. I personally think being independent is a better way to go than working for an agency. however if you hook up with a good agency it could be right for you. But all that goes back to where you are.
