I am going on a ski trip to the Lake Tahoe area and my group is staying in Reno. I was under the impression that prostitution is legal in Nevada, including Reno. I did several quick web searches and all that was coming up were the same old backpage results. I was thinking there would be more organized advertising with more accurate descriptions of the girls (since its legal).

Am I correct that it is legal? Does anyone know any agency/search engine/etc. that would give me an idea of the options? I feel like backpage advertisements are commonly misleading, and I don't want to have to sift through them while on vacation.

Prostitution is legal in Nevada, only in legal brothels, and only in certain counties. The counties containing Las Vegas and Reno are among the counties which forbid it. Most brothels are in rural areas away from the big cities.

If you want legal, go to a brothel, but be prepared to pay a lot more than you would to a good independent provider. As far as escorts in Reno, they certainly exist, and BP might not be the best place to find them. There are sites which can't mentioned on TER, but you can find ladies right here on TER. Search reviews. Reno isn't one of the selectable cities, in the TER database but you can choose  "all cities" then type in Reno for location. You can also try searching by area code.

Also check the "other cities" ad board. There are ads for Reno occasionally.

Kendall D'voe comes to mind as one of the top Reno providers, but she does tour other cities, so she may or may not be in town when you are.

Well like perfectstorm said only the Brothels are legal in Nevada and thats only in certain counties.  As far as finding legit and quality Reno providers, you are hard-pressed to find them here on TER because its rarely used, if at all in Reno.  Reno is a small town and migrates to one localized but popular review board.

Last time I was out there I visited the Wild Horse Ranch about a half hour east of Reno.  It is one of the legal brothels.  Nice place, very different from the collection of trailers connected to each other that most of the legal brothels around the state are.
