I don't have first hand persoal experience with any of those tours but I'm sure you can find online reviews on sites such as yelp. In any case there are tons of fun things to do in Hawai. Here is a list of 101 things to do on the Big Island. (There are also guides like that for Oahu, Maui, and Kauai) I would suggest definitely getting to Volcano National Park, and depending on the current lava activity (It changes all the time) you might get a chance to see lava flowing into the ocean (and building new land) Or view hot molten lava flowing over land, or over a cliff!
Of course you should get in some water activities. Be it snorkling, scuba, surfing, parasailing, deep sea fishing, or all of the above, or juist laying on the beach soaking up the sun and people watching. Unfortunately, the Big Island does not have great beraches for the last activity. The other islands have much better beaches for just laying out. Even though you are gonig to be on the Kona side, if you get a chance get over to the Hilo side at least for a day. Same island. Almost a whole different world.
Someone told me about scuba/snorkel with the manta rays. I did some research and there are several different companies that offer this amazing experience. Does anyone have personal recommendations? Mahalo Eclipse

Thanks for the tips. Volcanos are on my itinerary as well as a day or two in Hilo. I did get some recommendations for some great restaurants that I'm excited about. I'll be snorkeling mostly and catching up on my sun. I get enough people watching at home..lol!
I did get to dive with the Manta Rays and you can't go wrong with any of the the companies that offer this as they all have to abide by the same guidelines and meet at the same spot every evening. A must do if you are on the Big Island!
The volcano hike was breathtaking. And what trip is complete without Donkey Balls! I'm hooked. I brought home spicy balls and blue balls). Mmmmmmm!
