Do any providers take on newbees?

I am getting a huge flow of newbee requests w/no refs.  I am turning them down but would like to know if there are providers that accept newbees.  If so what do you require?
Thanksbuthwor

There are a few who do.. But what ever you do Screen screen screen. No refs is not necessarily bad there are other ways to screen. P411 is good and a few others. You can always hire a screener.  Many just want proof of their identity, Work verification or the like. BUT that does not make then a NON creep. It all comes down to judgement and if it feels right.

I'm happy to see new clients! The nervousness and sweetness totally makes me melt :P. They just must be willing to screen rather heavily via employment and other methods. For verification I require setting up a time to speak with them at their place of employ, accessed through a main number (I pretend to be a dentist/vet front desk or whatever else would be appropriate), a message from a work email, and/or any other info that helps me understand who they are. I've also had a lot of nontraditional freelance clients, so I'm used to getting creative. VerifyHim is also a fabulous tool. Hooray fresh meat! :P

and I screen them from head to toe ,

At least 2 forms of current photo id (students/drivers/work/CDL etc), work verification (by phone and/or email), Linkedin, sometimes it also depends on how easily "Googleable" they are.......I've seen "newbies" to the hobby  that were authors, journalists, etc.  I second that Verifyhim is a great screening tool :).
