cash or lack thereof can be considered evidence or lack thereof...

Since every transaction is publicly posted on the blockchain it just seems like a bad idea to link your wallet or address to someone else's in the hobby. There are privacy coins if it's a necessity but cash is the appropriate fund for this activity.

Crypto (at least Bitcoin) is too volatile. Rather just use cash.
