I'm visiting LA/OC next week from Boston.  I've been quoted $700/hr, $1,200/2hr from a top notch provider and twice that for a double.

In Boston the going rate for 8-10's is $300-400/hr; I know that used to be the case in LA several years ago as well.

Have things changed that much or have I just found a couple "super-premium" providers?

I'm not asking about value or "is it worth it?", just curious about market rates Boston vs. OC.

Use the search feature and plug in all the pertinent variables, including price, appearance and performance, etc.  You should be able to find many in your desired $300 - $400/hr, especially in Los Angeles (there are way more providers in LA than OC).
