The Atrium right across the street from JWA is fun.

Depending on what day you are there, they may have live music in the courtyard.

There are a few.
The HILTON is right across the street.
A couple of Marriotts close.
Ayres Suites is 6-7 minutes away, all good choices

My two picks would be...

1) Hotel Irvine- after it was renovated it is pretty much the best find around the airport I can think of. But, of course it is always nice visiting Newport Beach, in which case, my second suggestion is:
2) Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa.

Have a fantastic trip while in the OC!
