I haven't seen it yet, but I heard a popular provider has been published in a very popular mens mag. And I hear it is a "Tell all" interview reguarding being an independant provider and the men who see them.....
I plan to get a copy of the mag tomorrow. But I gotta ask. Does anyone else see this as a very very bad thing. Kind of like a nuke bomb in the seat of this hobby?
I do not want to pre-judge, but I am unable to imagine how something like this could do anything but turn up the heat.

I read it. It is very very detailed. I'm surprised that the provider would be that out in the open in such a public forum as Playboy.
Boy, it’s gotten thin LOL, but it’s a good article and yes TER is prominently featured with what sounds like Dave’s cooperation.
The ramifications were discussed in the General forum before the article came out and nobody seemed too worried about it. I guess it’s been out for a couple of weeks and there hasn’t been much said here and most of that is on the Las Vegas board.
So far there doesn’t seem to be any heat…because Jerry Falwell died? LOL, but I would be interested to know how many new members we have!
Well I have seen the artical now. And it is really just a really big, really nice advertisement for Nikki! I does outline the use of TER with a good amount of detail. Even gets into the acronyms, and what they mean. It makes brief mention of other like sites! But all in all it does focus mainly on the LV area. Lets hope any heat it generates stays there. Only time will tell.

Wow, I think it will be my first to buy in my life. Geese, my dad, even my mom reads the articles and god forbid certain names are not named. Is that possible?
I hope this provider wasn't doing it out of spite to anyone, if so...I am scrared for us all.

I know Nikki, and spite isn't even in her vocabulary. I don't know how much influence she had in what magazine it appeared in (he's a freelance writer), but she was certainly a willing participant.
From my perspective, I'm glad it finally hit the newsstands. It seems like it was forever ago that he interviewed her. I also pity the magazine that let it get away.
I like things of this nature because I hope that someday, even if not legalized, the hobby will be decriminalized for most intents and purposes. The more it's "out there", the more it will be tolerated, IMO.

its not like LE doesnt know there are escorts, and TER is not exactly a secret. TER advertises on the backcover of Playboy and other media, and they are mentioned in many popular media as well. Personally I think they shine some positive light on this lil hobby.
