I heard Bad to the Bone in San juan Capistrano is good. I actually enjoyed Lillie's in Brea.  But honestly the Best BBQ I had in SoCal was Bludso's in Compton and Baby Blues in Venice. There's also Brew Hawgs and Smokey Fred's in Orange. Hope this helps ya

I had some incredible brisket burnt ends (is that even a thing?) at their Belmont Shore spot. Locations all over OC, mostly former Hof's Huts.
