It’s been almost a month since it came out and barely a ripple…and that’s just here on TER. There’s one post about it over on the “Z channel” and nary a whisper anywhere else that I read, and I haven’t seen anything on the tube. So far; it’s just another Playboy article. And that’s cool.

By this time next month it will have gone into back issues and soon the vast archives of Hef’s world. However, while maybe not being the first major publication to speak of this site, I think it will forever lend credence to the rumor: “…there’s this place on the internet…” LOL.

I think any guy who reads the magazine and most that hear about the site somewhere else is going to check it out. But if my male friends (ages 40s to early 60’s) is any indication of the general male population; most will lurk, but few will linger. Of all my buddies I have shown this site to, and it’s quit a few; only one has seen a provider.

Another, spends hundreds of dollars in I don’t know how much time trying his luck on Match. Com. But then, I think he’s more in it for the arm candy and getting laid (with poor odds) is just a bonus.

The funny thing, or is it supposed to be sad? He’s been on the dating scene his entire adult life, he’s over 50 and he still plans on getting married some day LOL.

My best friend is married and he asks me a lot of questions about the hobby but always with a look of: “Why didn’t I find out about this place before the old lady found out about…”

It’s amazing how much better his marriage has been since that, so I do my best not to temp him into the hobby…but he knows where to find it.

And of course there’s my buddy who never bothered to research the site. He calls me up half drunk one night wanting to know where to find some action. I sent him to Cragslist.

By the way, it’s not just my horny old guy friends who know I hobby. All the wives (who’ve been trying to get me married off for years) are glad to see that I’m at least getting laid!
