I just HATE IT when I hear people call a restroom the "John". I've known a lot of guys named John. Some fine, upstanding men.

It sucks that when I hear someone say their name I have to think of shit.

So, In my house, the restroom is called the "Jim". Makes as much sense to me as calling it the "John".

And - there's another advantage.

When my kids call and ask "What did you do today dad?" -  I can answer "Well, I got up this morning and went to the Jim."

Seems to make them feel good every time.
