Why does 1 hour not mean 1 hour anymore?

And no, I'm not talking about 50 minutes for prep and cleanup.
I'm talking about women who take payment for 1-hour appointments and then schedule clients 15 or 30 minutes apart.
It's a worrying trend and I'm noticing it more and more.

White Rose Asian Spa on Westerville Rd did it to me last time, so I quit going.
I tried Kelley's Hot Oil Massage, paid for an hour and told her to go slow. Within 10 minutes she was jerking me like the building was on fire and complaining -out loud- about how it was taking me too long to finish and her hands hurt.
Ms. Jenna, who used to be a solid pro with her shit together, started pulling that shit on me so I'm done with her.

And look, I get it, these are all low-end hoodrat providers. But this town used to have honest low-end hoodrats who actually gave you an hour if you paid for an hour. I'd give anything to go back to those days. Except 3-400 bucks for a rub-n-tug. Maybe someday if I win the lottery I'll start spending that much. Seems I might have to, since no industry is safe from shrinkflation!

I would say step your game up. Save your $ for a better experience. Sounds awful to spend 3-4 hundred and get cheated out of a full hour. The reason why is because they are super busy with lots of traffic. Maybe find a pro that appreciates your business.
