Would like to get opinions from the field on a recent unfortunate issue that occurred.  I had set up an appointment with a provider far in advance, and a couple days prior to the appointment i had to attempt reschedule.  It sucked and I wasn't happy about it, but I run a business out of town and a situation arose that delayed my availability.  Contact was made immediately (2 days prior to appointment) and now it appears that I've been blacklisted by the provider.  The situation stinks all around for everyone, but I would have liked another chance in the future.  This was the first appointment that I had set with her.  

Curious how other providers and clients view situations like this?  I've had providers cancel before but never really held it against them unless it was repeated times.  Thoughts?

Bottom line, you have to go with the flow and respect her rules if she black listed you. Don't take it personally. She may come around again in the future. There are more wonderful ladies to meet and have fun with.

I have had to cancel before, but only twice that I can recall. One was a week prior and tried to reschedule for a week later.

I had a situation where a Provider I had seen for over 15 months cancelled at the last minute twice in 7 days and then did a no show three days later. I had seen her at least 15 to 18 times prior to that.  Th is was back in October.  

She texted me to.apologize in Novenber, I saw her twice in November and gave her some rather nice Christmas gifts too. Then in December she cancelled on me one Sunday and then did two no shows, all this with in 4 days of each other.  I was so shocked and a little hurt and a little upset this time around, but never reported it anywhere. She is fairly reputable and the actions were not indicative of how I knew her the first 18 months or so.

We had our falling out, I guess I held on so long hoping to see her because I truly liked her. Not saying that I had nothing to do with her actions,  but th e just did not add up.  I learned a lot from my time with her, but I should have walked away from that arrangement after October,  but I liked being with her too much. Sorry for the ramble,  but this is a hobby, enjoy, have fun, and don't let the misconnect bother you too much. You are not out any funds and no harm.

I wouldn't have blacklisted you, but that is just me and how I run my business. If you contacted her two days in advance, and planned on rescheduling, then I seen no problem with it. I have a 12 hour cancellation policy, and you were nowhere near that. At the most, maybe I would've asked for a deposit for the reschedule to make sure you weren't going to have to reschedule yet again, but no reason to black list. That is IMHO for the time wasters, the last minute cancels, and the dangerous ones.

As the other poster said there are still plenty of other ladies out there to see, and if they see the black list and ask you about it, just explain to them what happened.  I had a client that scheduled months in advance, and I followed up the week of to make sure we were still on since I hadn't heard from him, and his response was "oh I retired from the hobby"..... An email letting me know that would've been great. These are the types of guys who we have to deal with from time to time, and yes I hear about providers cancelling or no showing as well. If you don't call them out on it they will continue to do it, and then that gives the good providers out there a bad name.

I get your struggle (I really do) but then I scan down to your previous post. Be happy for the wonderful time you had with Nikki Haven. A classy lady makes it all OK. Maybe that will take the sadness away.

She's special indeed

It is normal to miss a lady that one became fond of and to wish one Could see her more, but sometimes it is best to move on too. Keeping things fun, respectful and "professional" is so important.

The biggest issue with those blacklist websites is that once you hit that Send button, it can NEVER be retracted or deleted by that website even if the provider begs that website that she was wrong or whatever the reason may be.

The person who has been blacklisted has absolutely no recourse except to go through the courts and that cost a lot of money with no guarantee of success.  

Even you rejected a session with me based on inaccurate information about me. I have no recourse in that situation even though I have 6 ladies who have whitelisted me.  

You're just as guilty as that lady who blacklisted Blabla99.

No dear I rejected seeing you not because of the blacklist info, but because of what several providers told me that HAVE seen you. This is a complete different situation.
