This was posted at another forum. Wanted to share it here since its worth knowing about. This happened to a relatively well known provider in the Canton area (her name is Isis and she has been around for quite a while). Post is from Vanessa (Isis's roommate and is a provider as well).

 
"Hi Sweetie. This is Vanessa and I wanted to let you know about Isis. I saw your post here where you were voicing your concern for her. That is very much appreciated. She is doing much better and I thank God that she is such a strong woman mentally and physically. To clear up any rumors that there may be I will tell you the facts. Two Fridays ago Isis was brutally attacked. She was stabbed multiple times and also beaten and raped. A white male called her for an appointment and told her that he had seen her before. When he showed up for the appointment (at motel 6 off Portage) he immediately asked to use the restroom. He came out of the bathroom naked with a gun and a hunting knife and jumped on her and began stabbing her. She did fight hard for her life and caused some injuries to his face. Obviously he overpowered her. He pulled the gun on her and told her if she screamed or tried to fight anymore he would kill her. He then used duct tape to tape her legs together and her wrists. He taped her eyes and her mouth. This was after he raped her. She was bleeding profusely from her wounds. He left her this way for over 5 hours. When he took the tape off her mouth it was only so she could answer questions. He wanted to know the password for her laptop and where the closest bus station was. He told her he was a homeless man. He also told her he has severe bi-polar disorder and that quote "hate it when I have to do this to someone". She told me she said everything she could think of to convince him that she wouldn't call the cops. Finally around 8am (more than 5 hours into this ordeal) he left the room after he reapplied the tape to her mouth. She was able to get loose from the tape somewhat enough to scoot off the bed and try and make her way to the door for help. That took her close to 4 hours to do so. The man who did this stole her computer and 800$. He did however leave the gun, the hunting knife and the duct tape in the room. She made it to the door and was able to get it open. There was a housekeeper right outside who called for ambulance and police. We did go to Jackson Township and spent 5 hours with detectives there several days after this happened. She sustained deep laceration to her left palm that has caused permanent damage and she needs surgery. Puncture wounds to her arms, upper chest and thigh. He knocked most of her upper front teeth out. I just took her stitches out today. She is healing well physically. As far as emotionally we will have to see. I have contacted victims of crime in Columbus and have filled out all the necessary paperwork for her. I am taking care of her right now and trying to work to financially support us both. We just wanted you to know what was going on and all that had taken place. We both appreciate your concern. Thanks for the post.  I don't think this made the local papers.  Isis had good reviews but advertises pretty much just on BP and this was at a Motel 6.  Not criticizing, just a comment.

Please let her know she is in my prayers. I hate that she had to go through something like that.

This bothers me so much. What really bothers me is that they haven't caught this psycho.
