why the increase over the past year? 300 turned to 350 and 400 your opinion?

Just refuse to see those whom you feel aren't cost effective. If more men would do that, instead of blindly complying, those who choose the higher scale would quit or lower their rates.

No offense, but I am not sure many guys "blindly comply". Most of us understand our options, and choose who we want to see with rate as one consideration.

Omgooosh, our outfits, to get our hair done, shit even the cost of shampooooooooooo. Then there's our personal bills like rent, car payment, insurance is through the roof nowadays, medical insurance is crazy when ya dnt hav an employer paying half or all, tuition, school supplies, kids cloths are crazy.....grocery shopping-wow....just the price of everything has gone up!  
Advertising has gone up, everywhere. Hotel prices on the weekend-CRAZY! My rates have basically been the same since I started over 3yrs ago, which my rate is the same price that it was 15yrs ago just to get the girl to show up at the door, then if you wanted her to do illegal services ya found out how much more it would cost at that time (which you guys now call upsale)so with all the reviews & such out there, your actually saving yourself money by being able to find out the rate for services you want before she gets to the door.  

Don't forget the cost of illegal pill addiction .......

There are dozens if not hundreds of more affordable options across the state.  

First, no matter what any of you gals say, most women over-pay for clothes, hair, makeup, shoes, etc... and most hair, makeup, clothing, etc... is more for themselves and other women than anything else.

I didn't say his question/complaint wasn't legit...... I just gave him my opinion as to an answer to his question.  
Just today I had a client want an appt. asking where I was, then wen he arrived he tried to short me a 100, said since I wasn't paying for a hotel for him today I was saving 100 which should be passed off onto him....I can see his point, but now that I have a certain other place I can use I still have to pay for the usage there (which might be saving me about 20buxs a night in reality).
but that's not how I decide appts. verses my bills.....If I can save 50buxs or more by getting a cheaper hotel that's still clean & discreet, it gives me a little more to pay an extra bill, but there are saturdays that pop up where the hotels jack the prices up to over 300 buxs (one night I told my client who wantd to see me to call around for a hotel so he could see exactly what I go through & the cheapest he could find was $195.00 for a days inn that oh, hell no I wasn't going to).
There are times when we have to miss work for extended periods like when someone has the flu & shows up passing it onto us. So if I can save money in other areas it makes up for it, instead of the client jus automatically assuming I should pass that savings off to him, like going to his place yes it saves me 100 but then I got gas & time put into it.
Anyways, I just gave an idea, & yall get all technical about it, with facts of employment statistics, when even the price of renting an apt has gone up over $50buxs a mth on some apts. & one apt community decides their rent daily by dividing how many ppl have stoppd by to look at their community factored in with how many units they have availible (I think that's some shady biz & it's the field I'm most affluent in).  
I'm sorry that some of you haven't had raises in a few years, but many of my friends have had raises in their fields. Those statics I dnt think are that factual in every city in every state. In Columbus a few yrs back they spoke of how high our unemployment rates were (this was when I was still managing for a company & working my own biz) & we had many positions advertised that ppl refused to apply for (& many help wanted signs out all over the place), I enterviewed a few ppl who turned positions down, due to fact they were on unemployment & didn't want to get a job until it ran out cuz they were able to spend their 40hours working side jobs under the table.  
If the girl has raised her prices & you dnt feel she is worth it, then choose someone else. I don't feel you should force a girl to lower her rate. There's alot of costs we do have & yes some ladies treat theirselves to overpriced haircuts, cloths, etc....it is her choice. There are also alot of us who have regular bills & are trying to do things with our lives instead  I think you think we lay in a bed all day tryin to be greedy , some of us just see a cpl of ppl to stay afloat. We all have dif reasons for doing what we do & dif expenses. A girl who has more expensive cloths, gets tummy tucks, botox, etc... she's going to have more expenses & she needs to charge more (she's trying to be extra sexy for you & it's your choice of which girl you choose, some guys want the girls to do that, or why else wud I hear guys complain about girls who they can tell has had a dozen kids with stretch marks, you guys say that stuff & then the girl trys to go & improve herself, then ya complain cuz she needs to recoup those costs).
The income prices may have dropped for starting salaries, but ppl who already have jobs have still been getting raises (at least most I've spoken with). Ppl who aren't getting raises might need to look at their job performance or the company they are with. I'm not interested in arguing with anyone, it's just a fact our expenses have risen (I haven't raised my rates, I feel they are very fair for what I offer & I come to ter to find out ways I can improve as I continue to strive to do better which I have improved 100% since the day I started but I so still have a bad day when someone is a jackass).  
 It's really hard to feel sorry for a guy who drives up in his mercedes, wearing a $500 suit with matching shoes, who was just on the phone with ya trying to barter ya down on the price & ya sneak a peak at the envelope to find he has shorted it 20buxs. (this happens), we all have bills & a cost of living.....and....the benadryl is a kicking in....goodnight
