I found one mention of actual camping on the boards in the last 1000 days from a provider that said she has camped in between tour stops in the past.
Curious if any providers have even been asked on a "camping date"?
And...b/c so many have different ideas of what camping is, I'm not talking the luxurious end of the spectrum (driving a house on wheels with all the accoutrements of home somewhere and calling it camping).
I'm actually referring to sleeping in an actual tent, air mattress or similar allowed, cooking over a fire, drinking beers, hiking, fishing, etc.
How many of you would actually do it? The camping that is. ;P
How far away from civilization would you go (accepting this is not a great idea for a first date)?
Okay see I am a tom boy at heart. I was born in Georgia, and I used to ride go carts, dirt bikes, I LOVE to fish, I can bait my own hook, take the fish off, and clean it. I have went to Pigeon Forge and hiked Mt Leconte which is a 14 mile hike up and back. I love doing outdoor things, so camping is one of my favs. I did do this with a client in Cleveland, and we had a good time. Roasted marshmallows that night, and then roasted each other in the tent...LOL

I'm not a hippie or a vegan. I just don't like fishing or hunting. Fishing to me is boring. I am a supporter of the Second Amendment, but I only use firearms for self-defense and target shooting.
From our previous conversations, I never thought we'd have anything in common.
You said it baby....I learned how to drive in a pick-up out in a field...LOL And I have gone deer hunting, target practice in the field, and I LOVE deer jerky...so Tobi honey...LOL
So my family has had a camper at a private campground for practically all my life--it's about an hour away from Cincy. I had thought about doing 'roughing it' dates out there, but it is so hard to find the campground. But for people who spend all their time in the city, I think it's a wonderful idea. Peace, quiet, fire, and beer!
That's awesome about the smokies, ally. I took a field biology class there, and we had to hike to Klingman's Dome and back one day, and I thought I was going to die of exhaustion on the side of the mountain haha.

Oh I thought for sure I was going to fall off the mountain several times because it wasn't supposed to rain...clear skies..and all of a sudden Mother Nature says fuck you and it starts raining with algae on top of the rocks. Yeah I thought I was going to die...LOL

When I was a kid, I went to summer camp. We went rock climbing in Kentucky.
A bad time to discover that I hated heights. Real bad.
