Yikes, this was something I thought never happened, the guys were LE's target!! I think this is only the 2nd time I have ever read of this happening, the other time was a story many years back in Florida I believe.
Be careful, I suppose I would have been leery of going to the bar, not the normal course of events. I had a provider try to suggest doing that a few months back, I posted on the board about it as I was frustrated by the events and not getting to see her as planned. As she is a reviewed provider, mixed reviews to be exact, and travels I can say with good cetainty that the situation with her and I was not LE and just a flaky episode - but it makes me feel a little better that I showed the ability to think with my big head even in the heat of anticipation, maybe these guys could have avoided this fate had they done the same.
Meeting at the bar , at least in the past has given the provider assurance that you are not law enforcement. LE had a very hard case to prove if the 2 of you met in public then retired to a room and so they would refuse. Seems maybe it does not work the other way. But remember unlike the gentlemen in the story if this happens to you SHUT THE F*^& UP . be polite be cooperative but only say .I want my lawyer- these guys cooked thier own goose more then likely
just post an ad on bp & confiscate some quick dough..... I hope the other cities don't catch on to that trick......wait I think Dayton is learning from another city I know of that does that shit regularly....
