Here's the other gap in LE logic: if this industry were decriminalized, the girls who are being trafficked/abused wouldn't be so afraid to seek help from the authorities. I know it's not up to LE to make changes to legislation, but all they're really doing at the moment is giving these girls every reason to believe that they are just as bad as their abusers.
In any event, I think that your "take no chances" approach is very reasonable and smart.

So is their plan to castrate all men? Seems like that would be the only way to accomplish their stated goal, to "end demand" of prostitution, fucking idiotic.
If they were to focus on those who knowingly and wantingly aim to see women who they are aware are in this business against their will then I say "go LE", those people are creeps who deserve to be locked up. But that is the thing, they don't hardly ever make the distinction that needs to be made and recognized, that there are plenty of women in this on their own will and who do it as a profession, for their own benefit, it should not be of their concern if a man wants to approach those women.
I don't know if I am in the minority but I actually make the choice to stear clear from situations where it may even be a possibility that the girl is not working and doing this because she wants to. This is sometimes tough to do with regard to appearance, I have seen some beautiful women advertised through agencies that I have passed on, just read too much about the trafficking of Russian women specifically for me to feel right about it, even though they are not neccesarily doing anything of the sort, trafficking I mean.
Not sure how they fashion these busts but unless they put certain tells out there that should clue one in to it being a classic trafficking case then they are going to net people who are just trying to have some fun and think the girl is just wanting money for herself, who would never knowingly see a person who is being trafficked. They get more money for arrests of certain kinds, federal money, so that is what it is about and they really should be taken to task for this BS, unless all other forms of crime are in check, which there sure as hell is a ton of violent crime, property crime, etc, that goes unsolved, then they should worry about that and leave the activities of a man and a women having a consenting meeting for physical activity to those two people. I even have some sympathy for communities who have a rash of street activity, but they can't with a straight face say that activities in a downtown upscale hotel room, which is where I have heard they often set up, have any negative effect on anyone.
