I figured that those sites are for women looking for modeling work. I know a provider that is no longer in the area (Brooke Tyler aka Alexa Brooke) had a profile on there but I don't recall that being a profile that was geared toward hobbyists.

Maybe through trial and error you could find a girl willing to listen to an offer, however I imagine the site itself might police that kind of thing, one complaint might get you banned or something.

I personally wouldn't try but I understand and admire your creativity - the selection is around here right now is like the Sahara Desert.

Modelmayhem is strictly for ladies to get modeling work.  You will find some escorts there either to get modeling work or to find photographers.  I have used it to find photographers, but if anyone ever contacted me there for an appointment, I would disregard it.  Most of the ladies there are aspiring models.  If you contact them for anything else you can get banned from the site.

...and/or a knack for being able to make girls want you. If you have that (second) knack, you probably aren't in need of paid companionship (but whats need got to do with it, right?) Either way, helps to know a little about photography, and some equipment of at least passable professional level. Good lenses are 2 hours-worth of fun, even an overnight (70-200mm f/2.8)
