Following up the thread below about the emotional side of the hobby, do you ever think about the end of time--either in the hobby or "the big one"  How would your favorites find out?  Do you care if they do find out?

If I were to leave the industry, due to a personal decision, I would announce my retirement. On the other hand, if I were to leave the earth permanently...nobody would probably ever know. My children are fully aware that I'm a companion. In addition, their somewhat familiar with the boards that I contribute to. However, I don't think that they'd share that information publicly.

I've had a couple of clients pass away and I read it in the obituary. Even if I'm not extremely close to them, I disturbs me a great deal.
