Some major action regularly goes to Cleveland, and totally ignores Cbus or Cincy. example - ECG & others. Does Cleveland really have that much more business, or is it easier to travel thru?
Had a fellow pm me a while back and he said that in the case of Cincy, the higher fares at the airport might be a big factor. I never considered that but it might be a factor.
Ladies are looking up airfares, hotel expenses, and what the history of cancellations are in the area. If it's higher airfare but less cancellations then the lady with go to the city. Also, if there has been a lot of LE activity in the area she will pass. Then you have to take an account the ad fees, boards, etc.
There is a lot of planning that goes into a tour and it's very expensive. At the end of the day she needs to know if she will actually make back the money she's putting out and the ratio on the return is good. Basic economics. If not, she'll pass and look at another near by city. This is why I see a lot more activity in one city then another.
Just my experience.
