Do we really need to slather every athlete in pink accoutrements and hand out pink rally towels at sporting events? Is that measurably advancing the cause?
I mean...who isn't aware of breasts? Are they not universally appreciated and loved by all? Sure, we all have our preferences...small, large, fake, real, pointy, curvy, soft, hard, etc. Maybe they aren't the center of your universe like they sometime seem for me. But, when challenged to save them or do without them, is anyone really saying "eh, some people swear by them. They don't really do much for me. If you've squeezed one breast you've squeezed them all." (It actually hurt to write that) Let's just agree that breasts rock and we should all do something to make sure they stick around for a long long time. K?

check out all charities online. Just google charity financials charity watch and you should get the ratings of all charities before you donate.
About a month ago CNN did a report on some families that run charities as a business. In some cases none of the $$$ went to any charities. But the top positions were filled by families all paying themselves six figure or higher salaries.
Some of the well known charities are not much better. Some of the "better" known charities pay their CEO's like athletes. I have no problem with anyone making a decent living at a charity but a multimillion dollary pay/retirement package is not what I contribute towards.
The whole pink thing is bullshit! Like 38% of the $$$ goes towards cancer research. The rest is blown on high salaries.
Check out the Susan G Koman Foundation. Much of what they pass on goes towards "awareness" and very little for research for a cure or prevention. As a previous poster alluded, is there anyone in the USA who is not aware of breast cancer?
The Motorboat for the Cure guys gives a much higher percentage.
