I'm reading God's Terrorist by Charles Allen. Its about the roots of Wahhabi and the Modern Jihad. Watching Walking Dead and Homeland. Two very well written and acted shows. Got to have something to do on non football days.  

Anything by David Baldacci is good. He is a Political Murder/Mystery Writer...love his books. As far as TV of course SOA is really good this season, and I have to watch all the new shows including The Blacklist...very interesting..

Reading:

*  Big Data - A Revolution That Will Transform How We Live, Work and Think  
*  Naked Statistics - Stripping The Dread From The Date
*  Destroyermen - Into The Storm
(I may bail on this one.  I love Alt History but this one is a little to far out there.  Alt history works when the alt part is somewhat plausible).  The first two I have not started as of yet.  But I saw the speaker for Naked Statistics on C-Span and his lecture/speech was excellent.  Statistics is part of our world and you need to understand it or you will be at the mercy of those who do!!!!!

Watching:

Blacklist - awesome show.

 “The African Americans: Many Rivers to Cross,” - The first hour last week was BRILLIANT.  And I am not just saying this because I am Black.

The cool thing is that the show deviates enough from the comics that it's still suspenseful. Now they just need to write Darryl into the comic.

But the Big Bang theory is great. I watch it when I get the chance. Maybe it has something to do with a blonde with big boobs but it also has funny quips and scenarios.
