I consider traveling 10 miles, to get laid, a PITA. Its no surprise that I don't consider sex a necessity but some may.

Take into consideration the typical case scenario for your dates. Now, what would you consider an effort above and beyond typical effort? Too much work for you?

Considering I've taken vacations out of country just to hobby...

I guess I have a high tolerance for effort, time, expense to get laid.

But, I also don't do that every week...because I'm not desperate for it.  I'm more about quality than quantity.  I'm more likely to schedule a 3-4 hr date once or twice every two-three months vs 1hr more frequently...I like a longer date so I can experience more with the lady in question and not feel rushed.

For instance...my last sesh was back in Sept or October I think with a local UTR girl.  I saw her a few time though..so...I guess it just depends.  But, all were longer dates of 4+ hours.  I'm also saving up for a house...so...I'm being tight with some of my discretionary money

I would travel several hours to see a special woman without even thinking about it, if that was my only opportunity to see her. Further, if it was a special occasion and I wanted to see her. Desperation for sex has nothing to do with it; it is all about a desire to see a particular woman. There is at least one provider I would travel hours to see non-BCD, just to see her face and talk to her.

I have that shit delivered.....just sayin

I have driven a couple hours to meet a girl but that was years ago when I just started doing this. Now I could not see myself going to that extent for a hobby date, but for those that want to I don't fault them if they think it is worth it. I would not call them desperate for doing that, just more willing to extend themselves for the experience, which I agree is not a necessity.

What I think is a sign of desperation and is too much effort is when hobbyists attempt over and over again to try to connect with a certain girl. Sometimes the girl will cancel on them or give them the run around multiple times, it is amazing how many times some will try, some seem like they are a glutton for punishment. I try to limit my attempts to connect that are not successful to 3 and if I get cancelled on I do not make another booking. I know "stuff" happens but I am very careful to not schedule unless I am certain of being able to come through, I have never had to cancel, and expect the same courtesy.
