A) Do women really find the idea of "rating" a female's attractiveness on a 1-10 scale "wrong"?

B) Why do poor people almost always seem to have so much money to spend on tattoos

A) I don't find it wrong but the "rating" of a woman's attractiveness on a scale of 1-10 is so terribly relative that it's mostly invalid.

 
B) May I add cigarettes and beer?  I don't think we will ever know the answer!

It can be - but that is only because a few guys are not being objective. They like a girl, so she gets a few more points. They are pissed at a girl, they give her a few less. But ratings can be useful, in spite of this, because we can generally adjust for bias. If I see a 5 or lower, I know she's not the girl I'm hoping for.

But, I've read something which discusses the idea of "rating" as being demeaning. Which I thought was... stupid. I guess I object to the objection of the objectification.   True, but I understand these - they are physical/mental addictions. Also, each cigarette/beer is relatively inexpensive. So you spend a little over a long period of time in these micro-transactions. And Lotto tickets play upon the hope of a prize, and are also inexpensive, and - to the extent that habit dictates so much of what we do on a daily basis - addictive.

But tattoos are a significant investment of money (not including the prison/homemade variety) with no discernible value. I mean, I like tattoos in some instances - but these are also rarely "good" tattoos. They are often ill-conceived bits of junk just painted artlessly in random places, and sometimes spelled wrong.

A. Doesn't bother me personally. It seems to bother the guys more, since it's so subjective.  

B. Haha. I guess it's a hobby. I set aside a certain amount of money every week for inkage. Obviously textbooks, rent, electric, etc. get paid before I can drop some change in my tattoo fund, though.

There was an article I was reading which prompted this. Here's the quote: Ignoring the bullshit about trafficking - which might be a legit problem, but there's no way any girl I've ever seen in this hobby was being "forced" except perhaps by a need to pay the rent, and the reality that she makes more money per hour than she'd ever make in an actual job - even a high-pay career.

But back to the question, I meant outside the context of the hobby. Just in general.
    First, I don't think you are even close to poor. You probably make more than I do, and I'm not poor. Definitely not by an reasonable standards. You can afford to go to college, which I couldn't do (and at the current costs, wouldn't do unless I was going into engineering, medical, or law - specialized, "gated" knowledge fields).

Also, while I've never seen your tats, I would guess you don't have some chumps name on your neck, another dude on your chest, etc...  

I'm talking about people (men and women, not just girls in the hobby) who are poor - like government assistance, minimum-wage-even-though-they're-30+-years old poor. I know girls can make a lot of money stripping. I know dudes can get money dealing. But why, when you are struggling, do you fee

Allow me to help with the beer/cigs/tats argument. I knew a hooker who received food stamps/assistance.....and spent her "proceeds" on drugs/tats/cigs.

Blew her off like a fucking drunken whore...........oh wait lol

He was a manager where I worked who had totally fucked up teeth. They were blue I shit you not. He always complained about how bad they hurt and bothered him. But then he would brag about having $10k worth of tats. And had plans to get more but never mentioned going to the dentist. I never understood it.

I really want to know how one acquires blue teeth. I'm no dentist, but that doesn't seem like it's within the realm of standard decay.  

Idk maybe they were more black than blue or a blue green it was 10 yrs ago or so.and it's not that I had a problem with the tats themselves. It was that getting more tats was more important than getting his teeth fixed when they didn't just look bad but caused him constant discomfort and pain.
By the way I wouldn't mind checking your ink out, I'm pretty sure I'd end up adding some egg shell white to your colors though.

I guess I'm rich become I have no tattoos ha ha. Oh how I wish that's how it went. I've been wondering myself what is up with that. Like people really get tats everywhere. I think it's nuts I would never. I like my smooth clear skin to much.

No I totally got what you were saying and I agree with you. I'm just interested in what sort of decay causes blue/teal teeth. Were his tattoos high quality? That'd almost make it even more tragic.  

P.S. While I realize you were making a jizz joke, I looooooooove white ink. Most tattooers don't like using it because of the slightly more rapid fading, but I say the touch ups are well worth it.  

Yeah his tattoos were pretty nice he was fairly well yakuzaed out. He had to ware long sleeves. He only ever drank pop ( that's soda for you non ohio natives) and drank it constantly. Probably had a lot to do with it.
