....I hope this is not a double post, as I thought I hot post, but I may have hit clear.  There goes the "brains".

I am planning a trip to Cleveland next month, and would like some advice on what area to stay in, stay away from, etc.  The last time I was in Cleveland, it was by private invitation, and we stayed downtown.  A gentleman suggested Independence; north or south?  Should I spend one night in Independence, and one downtown?  Should I include Columbus in the mix?

Also, what about local restaurants; not chains?  Vintage clothing stores?

  Thank you for your assistance.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly

is just easier acsess for clients, without having to drive downtown. ( driving downtown on a week day, can be a pain in the ass....heavy traffic )
I would say, 90% of touring ladies, use Independance
Good luck Beauty!!

...when I search a few consolidation sites, it lists north and south Independence.  Does it make a difference?  I always book through the hotel's site, but use the consolidator's to get a feel for the area.

would be considered the area around the highay interchange, which would be the place you want to be.

I agree about not staying downtown.  Traffic and parking issues for those of us not working downtown are issues to avoid.

You may want to consider Beachwood or N Olmstead each has far less providor traffic than Independence. Beachwood has the best shopping mall

Please consider the Brassa Grill Steakhouse downtown.  It is a Brazilian churrascaria and serves only the highest quality beef selections.  Besides, it's fun.

Bon appetit.
