I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like the Ohio board has gone to shit lately (and I acknowledge some personal responsibility for feeding the trolls. My bad.), so for those of us who are of the persuasion that we need to "be the change*," what sorts of threads would y'all like to see on here? Guys, more photo threads perhaps? Maybe some of those Eros ad legitimacy breakdowns like they do on the NYC board? Ladies, how about y'all? Tips for Ohio clients/visiting ones? And, of course, I'm personally always down for shit that appeals to both genders (stories, games, jokes, etc).  

I'll start: I would LOVE to see anything that's going to garner more participation from my fellow providers. Bring on the lurkers too! And, of course, anything that's going to up the positive energy in this joint.  

*Yeah I used a partial Gandhi quote on a fuck board. So you know this is serious business. :D

Valid attempts to vitalize this board. For some odd reason the participation continues to remain low...........except for the "dirty laundry" threads.

The small clique needs to stop trying to "control" everything........you included.

Why is it, young lady, that only you have something of value to ad?

If memory serves, isn't OSP the guy who has said that there are no quality providers in Columbus, that 4 of the highest rated providers in the state are "not worthy of his time", that he's married to a hooker who allows him to play with others (but not any more - but he's still writing reviews and hanging out on the hooker boards - but  he has no respect for guys who "cheat"), that he doesn't stoop to the level of people who smoke marijuana, etc. etc., etc.

Its probably a good thing for BCG that he won't see "pretentious" ladies.

And ...

Its probably a good thing for OSP that BCG is showing some professionalism and discretion, because I think it would be interesting to hear some of the things he said in his PMs that she found to be creepy.

It originally just said "pretentious," but he decided to go back and add "overrated" as well. Guess he was just seething over the fact that I'm not bothered in the least by his attempts to be insulting. But man, I am just DEVASTATED that he's not interested in seeing me! Nothing revs my engine quite like cheap, judgmental misogynists with imaginary wives and creepy compulsions.

Just like the "crime family" you're now assoc with, you'd just LOVE to be invasive as possible about EVERYONE here.

Clearly there is an active hobby/provider scene but for whatever reason Buckeyes feel as if....

1.  They don't talk about it then they didn't really do it.
2.  If you post on this board somehow you will be outed to your friends/neighbors

Not sure why but Buckeyes love to watch.  

When I posted my Gangbang idea.  I rec'd a ton of emails from guys wanting more info, etc.

If I remember correctly 1 guy endorsed the idea (if that).  Not that I give a shit.  I am just citing this as an example of what I am talking about.

The one thing that I think could unify this board is an active outing of rip-offs.

I know for a fact that NE Ohio is "rip-off city".  If you don't do your homework you will get fucked and not in a good way:(

We need ideas on how to help each other in that regard.  Rip offs hurt everybody (hobbyists and providers)

I think you are wrong about the reasons why people don't post.

1) The board structure sucks. You can't search things. You can't easily find anything. Terrible UI. This makes it difficult to use for compiling ongoing info.  

2) There's a more user-friendly place to handle the rip-offs, and everything else. Ohio has a very active information-sharing community - but it lives on another site which is free, open, and has already reached the critical mass necessary to stay useful. It also has a clearly stated purpose, and with that, the other bullshit (jokes, ISOs, drama) that predominates this place is kicked to the side (where it should be).

3)These guys know that providers read both the reviews and the posts here. They have to decide between open honesty,  and getting what they want, so they keep schtum. Why give anyone a reason NOT to see you?

I think this is the why behind it.

The reason I come here is out of habit. I sometimes type responses, but then decide it's not worth the effort of trying to explain things to someone who's already made up their mind. This place would be way more interesting if people would actually talk about interesting things.

....it's less about the types of threads and more about the people and the vibe.  

If you have a group of ten people hanging out but one or two that always show are bad apples...it sort of ruins it for everyone else.  No one enjoys it except maybe the troll who is only really happy when he/she is miserable and bringing everyone else down.  So, people stop coming around.

I'd participate in a wide variety of threads (and have) but lately many just degrade into nastiness and name-calling.  It's one thing to debate and dissent..that's fine.  But some people don't do it in a civil way.  They always introduce uber negative shit or make personal attacks.    

TER really needs to identify and aggressively kick these people out.  They are a cancer and ruin the value of the board.  They drive others away and prevent some from ever posting because they don't want to subject themselves to the nastiness

I agree with the things you have to say. I feel as if they don't have any reviews, or aren't verified, they shouldn't be allowed to participate or read any of the regional boards, only the newbie and general board. This could be anybody making up a name.

You have a great idea...Definetly it should only be ppl who have been verified (especially for providers protection, so that we can share more freely).....I don't have much time to get on the boards, but when I do I'm here to learn what I can so that I can provide better service, also so I can learn ways to be safe, & help my clients to be safe & discreet, so they also can find other girls for variety.... I get bored with the negativity & the judgemental stuff that I read on here.  
I just read some guy say he had permission to cheat but others who cheat are horrible ppl. That's like the person who speeds thru subdivisions to get to church saying it's ok to break the law & put children's lives at danger cuz they are on their way to church.
When I post I'm hoping I can pass on information that helps others. I found putting things in my ad trying to get guys to understand why us as providers ask that they don't do certain things (like ask 'how much wud it be if I just get a bj today' in text on my phone!), all that got me was hatemail & hatetexts ...REALLY, & still they continue to do the same shit that gets them blocked.....& several said they are frm ter. so I'm here trying to pass on good info. & learn wat I can....

Never used Eros, as I've been told numerous times, it's not a profitable ad site for my area.  
Still, I'm rather curious.

On the NYC board, they do a weekly thing where they research each of the newly posted Eros ads (Google, TinEye, etc) and post what they come up with for each girl. It's pretty comprehensive.

Thank you for explaining this to me.  Sounds like a very useful system to weed out fakes. Wonder if there is any downside from the perspective of both the gentlemen and legitimate/professional ladies.

Think I'll take a peek at the NYC boards once in a while.  Amazing how much we can learn from every board on this site. If only I had the time to read them all on a regular basis.

They also do this with Chicago and Las Vegas. I myself love Eros, and the biggest percent of my business is from there. But it depends what area and market you are in as to whether or not it will work.
