wanaprovide - I suggest being careful who you let "help" you. you shouldn't have to give them a big cut of the money if you are doing most of the work and they are just advertising. I recommend reading a few articles and blogs by escorts that you can find on google. get a new phone for escorting and post the number and a few pics on backpage. use the advice you read online to screen clients and make your ads and take appointments. you can visit my site lizescort.com it has plenty of resources for escorts.

other providers and people in the adult industry - be careful of ads/posts like this one. It could be LE trying to set you up for "promoting prostitution" or some kind of serious charge like that. And in general be careful of who you help. A lot of times helping someone can be looked at by LE as worse than what the escort is doing. Also, the person you are helping can turn around and blame you if they get caught.

Get the Book "The Business Side of Escorting", you can find it on Amazon.  It's out of print so the price is pretty high but it's worth the money, this is NOT a hobby you want to learn from strangers, clients or learn as you go.  Some girls have found the book at their local library, the library in my town doesn't have it.

An agency could be a good way to start,  Pros are they handle the advertising, booking and hopefully, screening.  Cons are they handle the advertising, booking and screening so you don't have as much control.  Also, they take a significant cut of your fees.  Don't know much about local agencies but I have seen a number of touring ladies that work through the national agencies
