Nowhere near Akron, but

Damn that sucks. :-(

And, for about the thousandth time, why the hell would anyone answer a BP ad?  Don't give me that "Oh, you can sometimes find a diamond in the rough" nonsense.

I said it before and I'll say it again: they didn't find a diamond in the rough.  They only avoided a landmine.

And I would love to know how much is spent busting and prosecuting (or should I say persecuting) consenting men and women of legal age over sex?

Wow yes I heard it very hot everywhere.  They are busting in cleveland.  I heard that to
they are not putting it on the news.  They looking for pimps and underage.  Very scared and
not seeing anyone unless they are vouched

Same Here...

One of my faves got busted as well a few weeks ago. Her court date is in April. That makes three out of my four regulars that have gotten busted within the last 4 months. And they're all still at it. Why do the police waste their time on this??

Because it's alot easier and safer for them to bust a 21yr old lady that's trying to survive than it is busting real criminals/thugs that fight back or can outrun them in a foot chase.
Plus the fines are easy revenue for the court system.

Good!  I've seen enough people try to elude (Why I Ran, Most Shocking, etc.) and it rarely seems to work.

I agree with you on that note. I will not be seeing any gents that are not vouch for. I was considering other options,but it's not worth it you never know. I feel you could never be to safe. Rather be safe then sorry any day. When things like this happens it just makes me over cautions. If there is a such thing as being overly caution. Some gents are annoyed by that. But the ones that puts safety first love that I'm careful. It also makes them feel safe.
But that sucks that this happened to her. Yea bp is getting scarier and more dangerous then ever. That's were I started on bp because I didn't know anything else. She should have went with her first instinct like she started to.

The police waste our time and also they leave the ladies no choice, but to get back out there. After the women are busted they have to pay fines, court cost, lawyer fees, and what ever else the judge wants to be a dick about. How can we not work when some still have a life and bills ya know.

I think Trying New is right.  I finally found something else other than fucking that is legal when done free, but becomes illegal once one pays for it.  I would agree that it is not enforced, but I think it is technically illegal.

Well, giving a friend a drink of liquor and expecting payment is always problematic if you don't have a liquor license. Other than that, I can't immediately think of anything.

Giving free legal advice, cleaning a friend's wound, cutting a friend's hair, trimming their toenails, etc. Basically any professional service requiring a license is illegal for anyone unlicensed to do for a fee. Perhaps someday we'll get to the point where prostitutes are licensed and can practice their service without legal harassment - but to get there we're gonna need a lot of politicians with the backbone to stand up to the religious conservatives. Not holding my breath.

Avoiding Busts

My recommendation would be to stop seeing girls from Backpages if you are concerned about getting busted.

I think you are asking for trouble when you cant verify a girl or see any reviews on her (like you can on TER).  You are taking a big chance picking a girl from backpages.  Most of them just have a number and maybe a picture that may or may not even be them.

Also, I think if the girl takes the time to verify you through another provider then you may be a little safer.  

Bottom line:  Stick to TER reviewed ladies and girls from P411.  Just my opinion and I hobby often.
