Getting ready to schedule my first experience with a provider.  Planning on an independent who requires a phone call to set up.  Might sound like a silly question, but what do you say?  Hi, i’d Like a date???

Just give your name, age, race and let her know you are a newbie if you found her up here and she has reviews you should be fine. I just did my first last week and saw same girl this weekend it's fantastic.....

First of all, read her website carefully and see if she has specific instructions. You already said she requires phone calls.  She might ask you for other info.  What does her website say?
.
You want to have as much info as possible to avoid being classified as a time waster.  Being a newbie, there is some info you do not have (e.g., references).  She might ask for info you do not want to share (Full name, employment address, SSN, ...).  Only share what you are comfortable sharing.
.
After she answers, you can say stuff like.
"Hi. I saw your ad. I'm very interested to meet you."
more detail optional
"Hi. Is this So-and-so? I saw your ad on blahblah.com. I'm very interested to meet you in person."
.
Never bring up specific sex acts or money in early discussions.  The mere mention of "Are you GFE?" can get you completely cut off.
.
Good luck! Have fun!

Really helpful!  Thank you!  I’ve read her site so much I may be able to recite it at this point😊

Is she a well reviews provider? As a newbie, you should only see well reviewed providers.
Most of the better providers require communication by email or want you to fill out the form on their website, or contact through a site like p411. Some will request a phone conversation before finalizing the date. Some will only do a phone call at the last minute to give the room number. Others do all communication through email or text. It is rare that a provider would want first contact via phone call, unless it's a lower end BP type provider.

Now if it's still a phone call only deal, then you say something like, "Hi my name is Bob. I saw your ad on xxxx, and I read some of your reviews. I am very interested in booking a date with you." Give her a chance to say hello back then you can continue with, "I am new to this and I don't have any Provider references. What kind of information do you need from me to make you comfortable?"

have a specific day, time, and length of appointment ready to give to her.

That often separates a looky-loo from a serious prospect in the eyes of the provider.  You can also let her know that you can be flexible about these things should the day and time not be right for her.

Let us all know how it went.

I don’t know your situation, but I would NEVER take a chance providing personal information to a provider. I surely understand her need to screen, but this is exactly why P411 exists. It provides a way for both parties to be (relatively) safe. And u can easily start the dialog on P411 and set up a date.

So I would suggest u set up your first date that way. Pick someone with strong reviews on TER and then book on P411. I think it’s paticularly important u get an experienced provider for your first date and TER is the best for figuring that out.

Unless you're paying several thousand dollars to book a high-end escort through an established escort agency, never ever looking at scored who only does outcalls. How to call only escorts never matched their pictures. Even worse, most of them are scam artists who will rip you off. For example; after you pay her but before you get started, she'll get a call on her cell phone. She'll tell you that it's her girlfriend and her girlfriend wants to know if she can come in and use your bathroom. If you say yes, when her girlfriend goes into the bathroom, she will go into the bathroom with her. She will then give her girlfriend your money. Her girlfriend will leave. Then she will find a way to leave without giving you any service. Of course, she will also have her pimp waiting outside in case you try to go after her and get your money back.

Hosting an escort is just asking for trouble. The only way I would host an escort, would be if I had used her before I knew her well.

You sound just like a certain poster who makes literally hundreds of dollars a year day trading who offers the exact same kind of advice as you do.

and if the girl who shows up is not the girl in the pics, why do you let her inside in the first place? She has already proven herself to be a scammer and a liar, so your next move is to invite her in? Are you really as stupid as you look?

Not giving advice to newbies. Luckily you are 9 days late to this thread, and the OP already got a lot of good advice. Hopefully other newbies just ignore your post and read the other good advice on this board.

Not sure when Ken had been finding his dates, but if u get a well reviewed provider via TER, u will never have the problem he mentions. The reviews are key — but anyone with lots of good reviews is going to be a safe bet. I kind of prefer outcall if u are in a hotel where she can come straight to the room. You really have limited exposure in public and are sure you are in a safe spot by definition.
