Is it ok to ask a provider you don't know

Another newbie question... is it OK to message a provider I have never met to confirm another provider? Being a total newbie I keep reading do your research ... only see known providers with recent reviews (done) If she is on P411 that's another thumbs up (done) ... message other members who have reviewed (done but no replies)
The only thing I can think to do is PM a provider I know she has worked with. My only goal is safety and peace of mind... I am not looking for any critique or anything ...
Suggestions welcome

Hate the nerverousness of being a newb

If the provider you want to see has been reviewed here and has a P411 account then why do you need another provider's opinion?

I am tying to do the homework everyone suggests to avoid LE. I selected a well reviewed provider wo has P411 and a web site... If that is enough then I guess I should feel secure but I have no idea being a newb. I guess I am tying not to make a newbie mistake and end up in a difficult situation

its anxiousness I guess

If the provider has a P411 account, TER reviews, and a website then I'd say you're good to go, man.  Have fun. 😀

Agreed; no guarantees available, but P411 acct, TER reviews, and website are good check-marks.
Just try to relax, have fun.

Why do you feel the need to?  In all my time doing this, which is far greater than my time here, I've never asked one lady to confirm another lady as being legit.  I personally wouldn't take that tact.

The only time I asked one about another, was because she had done a duo with her and wanted to know whether she would be interested in doing another with that particular lady.

You should only request a reference from someone you have seen, even if that reference is for another provider.

If you see someone with a decent number of good reviews, then that should be enough to avoid an unsafe situation.

Its extremely intrusive. It was done to me recently and was very annoying. If the girl your seeing has reviews, nice website, social media presence, etc then why would you feel the need to go to that level? Thats extreme paranoia and not good etiquette

providers you have seen whether it be a true reference for yourself or if another provider is "real".

I really appreciate the guidance ... Newbie navigation can be daunting.
