in terms of STD likelyhood?

first, there is not necessarily even a relationship between number of reviews and number of clients. The vast majority of clients do not write reviews, or are even members of TER. As big as TER has become, its still only represents a fraction of the hobby.

second, when there are lots of positive reviews by established reviewers, you can have more faith all the necessary precautions are taken. Without any reviews, you have no idea the general manner in which the provider conducts herself.

Of course a long series of reviews containing information about uncovered FS (I have never seen one of those by the way) should stop you in your tracks!!!

If a girl has more reviews, it means she is a highly thought of provider.  Just the opposite of what you imagine.

A provider with few reviews is much more likely to fall into what you are expecting.  Come on, THINK!!!!!  Lots of reviews means lots of satisfied clients.  You really think a girl with lots of good reviews would be a high risk of an STD?  Your thinking is totally back-ass-wards.......

I think it's a valid question.  

If everyone practiced the safest sex possible, which is never completely safe, then the transmission of STD's would be purely a numbers game.  Added to that, if a provider has been reviewed a lot, then that may correlate to a higher number of partners.  

What I gather from the responses I've seen here are that a well reviewed provider probably practices safer sex than one who is not as well reviewed (and well regarded) and that the number of reviews does not always correlate to the number of partners.

It still leaves questions in my mind, because I see the validity of both arguments.

Lol no it just means more of her clients aren't afraid to leave a review...doesn't mean she's unsafe.
