Newbie - FAQ
Hey, I posted a reply before, but for whatever reason it doesn't show up now.
Anyways, in a nutshell:
Yes, it's happened to me too. But you have to realize these are not "regular girls." These are providers and they're often very busy, whether flying from one hotspot to another, or entertaining some billionaire or whatnot. So they tend to be pretty flakey.
But then so are so-called "regular girls"!!! 
I can't tell you the number of times I've gotten phone #'s from chicks at clubs or whatever only for it to go nowhere. An attractive woman will get a zillion offers a week. So it's easy to get lost in the shuffle, even if you're a good-looking guy.
So don't stress it. On the other hand: don't quit either! Like I have met so many guys who've been with strippers it's ridiculous. And I'm not talking about paid action either. More like a hot date. And that is what I'm assuming you meant? You wanted to see one of these ladies OUTSIDE of work, right?
Of course, it helps if you're a celebrity or a billionaire. I'm curious: Did these girls know how much (or how little) you make?

I have no luck with agencies where I live (the Bay Area). If you know of any good ones, I'd love to hear about it!

It is your job not to buy into it beyond the moment. And who knows, they might have really meant it at the moment. While I understand what you are saying, you need to understand that no response is a response - without risk for them, of getting into an extended dialog.
Plus, agency girls can lose their gig and be blackballed in the industry for seeing agency clients on the outside, not to mention the agency can blacklist you if they found out.
