What kind of questions should I ask to determine if I am talking to a legit operator? I came in contact with someone that seems to be one, but the only question they asked was where I was located and sent me an address to an apartment complex. I asked if they had any reviews, but the operator said no, because the girl was new but very nice. What other questions should I ask to determine if they are safe?

legit who work for major telephone companies.  If you don't recognize a name like Verizon, Frontier, AT&T, etc., you should rightfully be suspicious.

If you give the rest of the information, like explaining your phrase "came in contact" which doesn't mean a thing.  How did you find them, have you done business with them before, were they referred by a friend, etc.?) I can give you a real response.

Face-to-face, each a classic case
We shadow box and double-cross
Yet need the chase
A license to love, insurance to hold
Melts all your memories and change into gold
His eyes are like angels'; his heart is cold
