ok, i know ive been asking alot of questions but after last night i dunno.....
ok so i posted on bp and i got calls, the first call the guy asked questions like am i interested in FW and saying my rates out loud, and i thought that was taboo, he was readig the page and rates to me,im like well if u read it it tells you why r you discussing it, so i got all paranoid and told him i was not what he was looking for and he kept trying to have a conversation with me so i just hung up on him, then he calls from a dff. # as a diffrent person, which he sucked as, i did the same thingi jus suspected every guy was le.. do they really target providers like that? i was in st. louis, well every call that night i just said i was not accepting any more appointments. it just felt like everyone who had no refrences or this is thier first time wanted to contact me. and the guy i did have an appointment with went fine until the end when he went to his car to get the money. i kno ikno but of course he didnt come back..... i guess for guys who dont use date-check and p411 etc. i dunno how to screen them. the guy who hit & ran had 3 ref. but i called them and the girls were rude and acted as if i made them uncomfortable just asking if they knew him. i jus said he used them as a reference, not anything that would suggest a reference to what. but im sorry so long it was just omg what a horrible first time. im changing my bp to no references dont bother. but i also want ideas on how to screen. feel free to email me....

Read the newbie manual, I'm sure there are tips on screening in there.  You can search for screening also.  But sweetheart, you gotta screen, just like we have to do our research on girls we want to see.

Sorry about your scammer, unfortunately for all us good guys out here, there are some assholes, just waiting to take advantage for someone like you.  BTW, the question man was an asshole too, and like you thought, possibly a LEO too.

The verification boards do not mean that someone is a good person. Neither does providing references. It doesn't mean that they won't rob you, have any diseases, be rough, or stand you up. It just means they have slept with a lot of prostitues. Check providerbuzz-dot-com and avoid traveling to hotels(where most stings are done) and seeing guys at your incall(cops can come to your incall). Also, for the love of God, don't tell guys you're new they will pull things they wouldn't dare try with a seasoned provider.

I do not want to sound negative, but you sound like an accident waiting to happen.  This is a hobby for the men, but a business for the women.  The successful independent women have a business plan, like other successful businesses.  I suggest you spend some time getting familiar with the business working for a reputable agency, or take some time learning more about the business from other successful independents or online research.  There are several good books available from Amazon on the business side of escorting.  Please learn more before placing more ads, or you will jeopardize your safety and your clients'.

If you hook up with a well-established lady she can teach you the ropes as far as verification and how to handle problematic clients. If you don't know any ladies in your area, perhaps you could attend some local Meet & Greets (see the M&G boards) or post on the Provider's Only board once you have some reviews.

Contact several providers in your area to get some pointers on screening.  Yes, you were taken advantage of and for that I am sorry.  

Please understand all guys are not like this.  There is a reason why ladies insist the envelope be left in a certain place upon entering the incall location.

IMHO, you were correct in your interpretation of the phone conversations.

You should have a separate work phone, if you don't already.  (Shut it off when not working & never mix contacts.)

Most ladies get donation before any action.  On the one hand, it distracts from the experience...  my ATF is old school & the gent leaves the donation (silently & without looking back) on her dresser while redressing.  It disappears without comment.  

You can not block someone from leaving (kidnaping/unlawful restraint) so best to secure the donation in advance & put it in a safe place.  Some ladies even check it (so as to not end up with a handful of newsprint).

Some of the ladies are sending you PMs so you'll need VIP.  It'll be worth what ever it costs...  

Not all guys are thieves & *ss h*les...  but you'll devolupe a sense of them with experience.

Thanks for the help. ive been researching the hobby for a year now. and girls arent very open to answer my questions let alone give me tips. the newbie manual helped but not all the way. and im sorry im on my phone typing this ungrammatical response

Well, I've answered your questions at length in the private mail I sent you. I can't remember if you need VIP to read PM. You definitely need it to make initial contact with people, but you might be able to reply to messages that have been sent to you without it. It's been a long time since I haven't had at least limited VIP. Anyway, it only costs $20 a month and is well worth it, especially if reading the messages that Amber and I have sent you prevent you from having even one more experience like this.

Yes, one needs VIP to read PMs.  Providers can get "Limited VIP" free after they get reviews & link their membership to it...  and can recieve PMs also.
There are ladies here willing to advise you.  Local ladies might see you as a threat to their business but thanks to the internet others can step in.
