you can either give out personal info to several providers (and who knows what they will do with it or how long they keep it?), or give it to a couple of the verification services whose servers are outside the U.S., where prostitution is not illegal. Those sites have to have some way to verify that you are not LE, and your real name and other info are the only way then can do that.
I've been reading over some of the recent threads and there was a consensus expressed earlier that you should never have to give out your real name.
However, we are also told in other threads that in order to get started out, we should either look for a provider that is open to newbies, or get verified with a service. Invariably, the provider's screening (and the verification service, as well), will want your real name so they can figure out you are safe.
So is it okay to give out your real name in that limited circumstances (i.e., this is your first foray into p4p), or am I missing some other way to get started out that doesn't involve giving out my name, even the first time? Obviously providers that don't screen at all are out of the question.
when a provider uses the verification service to screen you, all she receives is an OK or don't see him because he is not a good client. The service does not give out your real info to the provider.
If I am incorrect, ladies please correct my information.
P411 was the right choice for me. They also verified where I worked and called me there. Can't get started without giving up something (at least if you want to see reputable ladies).

even if a provider use P411 and other sites.... what guarantee I have that those with few "ok" are not LE trying to catch providers. If a see a client with few providers and those providers with only few reviews as well..... I don't feel comfortable and I would want your FULL information. People can fake that and send it to P411...I am wrong ladies? As far as what I do with the information ... nothing, I will schedule the apt with you!.
but you will find it much easier to meet quality providers (I.e. those that really care about their own safety.) if you do give out personal information.
I have been doing so for over ten years, and must have given my name out to close to a 100 providers by now, and never encountered any contratemps as a result. (Unless you consider getting married a contratemps.8o)
