make any difference. Newbie members show up every day and some are inqusitive enough to ask questions immediately. So one Chat will not answer even a miniscule fraction of the  questions that get asked here over the long haul. The best way for experienced members to be helpful to Newbie members would be to either answwer the question that they ask, or point them to posts or databases that answer their questions. Too many times Newbies are insulted for asking a Newbie question on the Newbie board.
From my personal perspective, the only posters that irritate me are the ones that post over and over about STDs well after their questions have been answered.
