I should have been more clear in that I was referring to Hobbyists, not Providers on the outcall thing. Unfortunately, Providers are VERY susceptible to LE stings as outcalls.
OK so I'm a new member and a new consumer as far as this sort of service goes and I'm trying not to do anything stupid. My question is this; what's up with in-calls? It seems sort of shady to me. I mean, how do you know that your not walking into a set-up or some sort of sting operation? Anyone have any bad experiences or good advice with this sort of thing?
Do your homework on the providers - reviews, reviews & more reviews. The more reviews on a provider, the less likely that she will be a LE or a trap. I just went to an incall few days ago & had a great time. It was at an hotel.
Same goes for us walking into your place. Imagine how a woman feels walking into a gent's home or hotel room for the first time. We too have no idea what's behind the door. LE? Psycho? Rip off?
There is nothing 'shady' as you say in most cases of ladie's incalls. As long as you do your homework as the previous poster said. Read reviews. Upgrade to VIP if not already. If you stick with well reviewed established ladies and you'll be a happy hobbiest!! Good luck and have fun!!
Get TER VIP so you can read full reviews. Find well reviewed providers... Several reviews from guys who have several reviews besides hers. Don't look at the numbers so much, look at the review text for the kind of encounter. Look for consistancy... mixed reviews are more risky as to the quality of the experience.
For her own protection expect to make a call when you arrive at or near her location. Usually a hotel.
Incalls are safer than having the lady to your home, that's for sure!
Read the boards, the newbee boards, the terminology lists... You can learn so much that way... avoid making stupid mistakes.
Any blind date is a risk... for both parties. Doing these things will minimize the risk... buit can never eliminate it.

so if that is your major concern, at least for your first time, then you should go with it. Also, most incalls are held at the lady's hotel, so if there are a few clients coming and going and get spotted by the hotel staff, they could (not likely) call in LE to monitor. In those situations, the client can sometimes get stopped coming out of the session and confronted. If that happens, the best course is to shut up, shut up, and shut up. Then shut up some more.
Having said that, I haven't done an outcall session in eight years, and then I only did because I couldn't find incall arrangements at the time, so I had to rent hotel rooms for the sessions. If you do your research, see relatively low volume providers, and walk into the place like you own it, you most likely won't have a problem. The incall allows the lady to control her day, have a measure of safety, and provide a place to meet without the guy having to pick up the extra expense of the room. For your added benefit, and maybe most importantly for your level of newbie nervousness, if you get the gut feeling that something is wrong, you can just simply walk away from the incall session at any time. You can't do that with an outcall because it's your room.
Pay more attention to the reviews and how the lady is going to rock your world, and try to worry less about the incall / outcall aspect. The research is the key.
I'm so green to this that I don't have an incall. Besides, I think it'd be really easy for LE to sit and watch. And it's more income I have to explain to the IRS. Do you hobbists kind of survey the block for suspicious persons before proceeding?
Remember the same hotel room can be both incall and outcall, it all depends on who pays for the room.
A lot depends on who LE is targeting, and why.
Want to catch the low hanging fruit of CL johns, post an ad leading them to the local Motel 6. An easy statement that local LE is doing something about "prostitution". It has been done many times!!!
To many nuisance reports at the same hotel, or address can also st up a sting.
You are right, LE doesn't usually target hobbyists via outcall. But remember, the gals are also at risk!!! Yunno, jurisdiction is an important part of the LE equation. If some DA, Sheriff or PO decides that an indie, or agency needs to be taught a lesson, traps can easily be set! Most good providers know how to avoid them.

The most important thing are her reviews! Everything else is of minor concern. Its true there are no garauntees, but if she is well-reviewed you have little to be concerned with.
Well-reviewed means that she have more than a couple reviews (3 or more), and that these reviews are mostly by hobbyists with a few reviews written (3 or more). The more reviews, the less chance of meeting any difficulties (LE or otherwise).
My first time with a provider was at her incall location ... which also happened to be her home. I didn't know that until I got there.
I used TER to research 19 pages of highly rated reviews spanning 6 or 8 years. There was no question in my mind that everything was on the up-and-up. It was.
Another highly rated provider I've seen has an apartment set aside as an incall, keeping her home life separate from business. I forgot how many pages she had, all very highly rated. She, too, was - and is - outstanding.
Do your homework. The more effort you put into research, the better your results will be.
Plus seeing a well reviewed Lady also with giving you the security that she is safe, when you next want to see another Lady if you have been nice and a Gentleman, as I assume you will be, she can be a Great reference for you. Most Ladies are more than wiling to refer their Gentlemen who are sweet to them.
