......contact someone using an alias, that does not have pm?  Also, how long does it normally take to hear from admin, when you file a problem report?

  Thank you in advance.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly

You can contact the alias.
Go to Mail, Compose, then type in the name of the alias you want to contact.

When I contacted the site in the past, I got an email confirmation saying: "Please allow us 24 to 72 hours to reply."

If the person using the alias doesn't have VIP status to get PM's then the only way to contact them would be an open post on one of the forums.  If the person can get PM's then what Businesses told you will work.

Problem reports I generally never hear anything about.  Just go to Account Manager > My Problem Reports to check the status.

Non VIP's can not respond or read PM's.  You should get an auto-response, but it may take a day or two to get anything back that means anything.  You have to check in your account manager, because sometimes they want you to give more or different information.  So look in 'my feedback' or 'my problem reports' in the acct mgr.

I always get an answer, not always a rational one, by email within a few days.

Only VIPs have aliases, and only VIPs can receive PMs, so ALL aliases can receive PMs.

I have submitted hundreds of problem reports, and never once received a response by email.
But I can check "myTER" and it tells me if it was approved, declined, or if they want more info.

Do you argue with them about it when they're wrong?  Maybe there is another reason. Do they have the e addy you check?

So, if my VIP lapses does that mean I can no longer post with my alias?

until you get VIP again either by paying, writing a review, or submitting problem reports. When your VIP gets active, your alias is active again.

However I was actually incorrect in saying you were incorrect:) There is a scenerio where an alias can't get a PM: You could post under your alias today, but have your VIP expire tomorrow. Then I might see your post and decide to PM you at your alias. You won't receive it because your alias is now inactive. However, in most cases, if someone is posting with an alias he/she can receive a PM.

Yes, TER has my proper email address. When I send them something via "contact us" i receive an email saying they received it, and that I will get an answer within 72 hours. Then eventually there is an email saying they have replied to the message. I still have to go to "my Feedback" under "my TER" to read it. They don't answer my question in the email as you seem to be saying.

Secondly, this was about "problem reports," not feedback through "contact us." I have never received emails about problem reports. You also mentioned a few days ago that you get emails when your board posts get pulled, which also has never happened to me. I am just wondering if you are misunderstanding the questions here, or are you the only one who gets emails for everything?

...I do believe the issue will be resolved shortly.  The "my feedback" feature was what I was missing!  Thank you all very, very, much!

He must have been at the back of the line when they were giving out the clues since he is clueless.

There is a misunderstanding about pulled posts.  I am not notified by email on those.  On problem reports I receive an email with a link that takes me directly to the answer in the TER site.  I gave them several arguments over a couple of problem reports, one was very strong involving playing favorites.  After the first arguments I received those reports and all others since by email.  It's no big deal, I don't get a break in their decision (I need spell ck)

I was adding information to the question.  It's up to the one asking the question what he thinks of the answer and what he choses to do with it.  I don't care.
