When did TER make use of mail a VIP only feature for providers? Like before if you were linked to a profile you could send and receive messages even if you were only a basic member. When did this change? Isn't this going to push providers away from this site if we have to pay just to send/receive a message? Am I late? My VIP membership just expired.
Sorry, expenses blow. You're decision concerns is the monthly fee a worthy operating expense. I would imagine yes, due to the exposure you receive, but other providers will answer better than me
Had no idea they did Are you sure something has not happened where you are not attatched to your account Other Providers - do you still have PMs without Paid VIP? I personally feel that the PM privileges of providers to assure that client is at least using account of OP is one of the major benefits and if taken away to drive income will devalue this site.
free PM is still a part of the limited VIP feature:
This limited VIP: 1. Never expires.
2. Allows the provider to use the TER Mail / Personal Messaging (PM) system as if they were a paid VIP member.
3. Read the "juicy details" of her own reviews (but not of other reviews).
Once you are upgraded your TER Profile is automatically linked to every message you submit on the discussion boards, making it easy for guys to find your reviews.
Write to TER and tell them you have a problem with the PM. They can probably fix it.
PMs are supposed to be a part of your free Limited Provider VIP. There has been no info on providers losing the ability to PM in the new TER. However I suspect there could be some kind of glitch in the system, possibly when they changed over. I thought it was just a one shot deal with that one lady but apparently it is a little bigger as now we have heard from at least 2 ladies in two weeks, so there may be more.
Your best bet is to use the "contact us" button to ask TER directly What is going on.
