Newbie to this field of work and wanted to know if anyone with experience working with agencies could answer a question for me....

You know what I mean by 'traveling with an agency' - they send you out of state to a hotel for 3-5 days at a time. It doesn't say anything in my manual about the escort agency getting back 1/2 of the airfare and hotel from the escort... yet this is what they expected from me when I returned...

Could anyone tell me if this is standard practice among agencies?

Thanks in advance!!

In cases where the ladies have been willing to say anything at all about it, agencies typically pay 1/2 of travel and lodging fees and the lady the rest. Agencies also routinely take 40% to 50% of the earnings. For the take, the agencies provide screening of clients, contact numbers and people to answer phones. Agencies provide those service with a varying degree of care and success. The benefit to you of the arrangement is that you do not have to worry about advetising, screening clients and taking phone calls, and if a guy gives you trouble on a call, blacklisting him or providing muscle to make him regret crossing you. But if you have a good sense for business and are disciplined, you are better off without agencies, you will end up working less and pocketing far more of your hard earned dollars. If you go the indy route, the key will be you doing excellent screening of clients to determine whether they are safe choices and will keep appointments.
