The MSNBC summary states: "the men were arrested and charged with soliciting sex online with a decoy posing as a 12, 13 or 14-year-old — a felony in Texas."
And well it should be! Last time I checked, that is not what we do around here - and the sickos who do deserve what they get.

It is adamantly contended by many that the media & specific LE “groups” are setting up and even “Framing” what the reality show calls as “predators” who are, in fact, believed by some to be victims.

Being careful and knowing who you are IM-ing or sending instant messages and chatting with could be anyone! (* I believe the media is very effective in making the community well aware of the fact that a decoy….or impersonator can fake any information*)
Don’t ever ASSuME that some warning is without a need of attention. If someone can pose to be a 13/16 year old they can just as easily pose to be a provider.
Just FYI- use it as you like, take it as a warning or just smugly post it isn’t relevant….
It’s your choice but I would encourage all newbies to be careful with instant messaging and phone calls.
Emails have a little more accountability than the afore mentioned two.
