Something happened last night that I did not expect in a hundred years and I wanted to see if it's just as confusing to others.  

Context -- I've gone from never having hobbied to having seen a dozen providers in about 3 months, which is another story, but just to say that I'm still very new to this thing.

You did the right thing by taking control of the situation. I've seen dozens upon dozens of girls (including streetwalkers for many years) and never had this happen.  The vast majority of ladies are just too smart to engage in this sort of risky behavior.

bbbjcim is common and i personally would not worry about it.   uncovered contact of genitalia is definetely unsafe,  and you should not let little head any where near that thing until he has his hat on.   provider knows better so if she is doing this with you, she might with others.   id be careful w her if you go back and if there is another slip up, dump her and move on.

I concur, any contact of the genitals should include a cover.  Disease is spread pretty easily, and the best protection against it, assuming you have gentile contact, is a cover.  (abs. best is not engaging, but what fun is that?)

Even bbbj has its risks, so you may want to think of that as well...just because a president was caught doing it, does not mean it was completely safe either.  

Don't get me wrong, we all take risks, it's just a matter of knowing what the risks are and if you are okay with them.  After all, that GF you've been dating for 5 years can get you infected just as easily as that one night stand you had last night.

What's good is that in this hobby you can take as much risk as you feel comfortable with. If you want condoms all the time, then it's your responsibility to make that happen. You asked "How often does this happen?" Given my experience I would expect any hobbyist who does tend to repeat visits, will run into this situation periodically. If you only see girls once, then I would be surprised if you were EVER offered BB. If however you repeat at a massage parlor or an escort, and you have a good rapport with that girl, things may indeed escalate.

Don't be surprised, don't be scared, just decide in advance how you want things to progress. It's really up to you.

I have actually had this situation come up twice.  Both times I pulled my head (both of them) together and was safe.  I do now other friends that have had BBFS.  Yes - it does happen.  I would not encourage it or do it.  But the situtation you mention does come up.
