A few questions for the vets from a Newbie. Well, not so new, as I have seen a few providers. I've mostly seen providers from BP, I know a little dumb looking back but so far I have been lucky.
1. Date Check/P411/TER VIP: Is it really worth the trouble/money if I only play 2-3 times a year?
2. Hobby Phone: Should it be a smart phone? I really have a bad sense of direction and really poor memory when I'm driving, I don't want to have to get a separate GPS device just for my car, but then again I'm a little paranoid when it comes to tracking. Should I even be worried about my phone being tracked by LE?
3. Asking a provider for extra services: Do you just go ahead and ask over the phone (using code)? Like say greek or french or dfk. What exactly counts as "explicit."
4. Escort Friendly Hotels: What should I be looking for? Does the hotel's star rating influence whether or not a provider will see you? Just so I book the right hotel next time I travel.
5. Getting flaked on: To review or not to review?
1. Yes it is worth the money. Walk into a sting one day or a ROB and you will wish to have had TER VIP. The others are screening tools and less important.
2. Get a smart phone and don't worry about being tracked by LE. As a casual hobbyist you should not be worth LE's effort, but do password lock your phone.
3. Any discussions about service items over the phone will probably get you hung up on. If you are planning on seeing a TER reviewed provider, yo should already know what is on her menu.
4. Hotels are better then motels because of where the entrances are situated. Walking into a decent hotel will floors is better the walking from a parking lot right into room #1
5. You can't review a flake in most cases because a meeting never took place. I assume that you are talking about a NCNS. You can post on your regional board in the event of a NCNS, but depending on who she may be you may expect white knights and a handful of angry providers shouting you down.

If you jsut read back a few pages on this board you will see over and over again, recommendations to see only "well reviewed porviders."

"Appears somewhere else" is not the same as "reviewed somewhere else' You gave a link to a backpage ad. It is only an ad. Ads can be real or fake. They can be scams, robs, LE or any number of bad things. (Or good things). But you shouldn't make a decision based on an ad. Make your decision based on reviews. TER is the biggest and best known review site, but it is not the only one. there are others which can't be mentioned here. But if you are a newbie, you should be seeing someone who is well reviewed somewhere. Preferrably here.
1. If you have no references or reviews, one of these sites will help you get started.
2. Smart phone not necessary for hobby. A cheap burn phone that you buy minutes for is all you really need.
3. You will get hung up on. Explicit is, for the most part, very graphic language, to be avoided. You should have done enough research to be able to avoid having to ask such questions.
4. Any hotel with the door in a hallway is far better than a motel where you enter the room from the parking lot.
5. No visit, no review. You can't write a review if you never saw her. You can post about a flaked date on a regional board. Just don't name her, tell them to PM you for more info.

Do I have a Ter id# or do just the Providers have them? If im being screened how do I prove im a Vip member of Ter? I was wondering why I shoud not use my phone, wouldnt that help who I contact know who I am? I'm a Driver at work. I don't have an ext#. Im usually out in the field. If im being screened they won't be able to talk with me directly. Will it be enough for Them to know I work there by getting a message to our receptionist?
I will try to answer some of them.
First the TER id# You get one when you write your first review, but hobbyists don't really use their id number. They just use their handle. How you let a lady know you are TER VIP, is you PM her through TER.
As for the phone, a hobby phne is a good idea for most people.
As for contacting you at work, if they are just trying to verify you work there, and you don't have a direct line, they can call the main number and just verify you. You will have to work that out before they make the call though. Explain the situation. They might be able to call and say you have a dentist appointment or something, or maybe verifying employment because you were buying a car or something like that.
I don't know if that answered all your questions, but I hope I cleared up some.
Even if you dont use it for the hobby, a GPS for your car is a gas saver if you are like me and get lost easily, miss your turn or your exit, etc.
With gas as pricey as it is, it really pays off to have a GPS that will take you right to your destination.
You can pick up a GPS at a pawn shop or on Ebay for less than $50 if you get just a basic Tom Tom or an older version of some of the newer ones out there.
As for hotels - if you want the lady to come to you, get something in a decent area, mid price range - stay away from dives like Motel 6 or RRI.
And read the lady's reviews and read her website, between the two of them you should have a good idea of what to expect when you see her.
