Work info is pretty commonly used as a reference....

You need to pick someone with very good reviews and who is very discreet in how she goes about verifying you.

A VERY well known provider is now screening by asking for place of employment and a phone number. This is a top notch provider and I am unsure if I should give up that information to be with her. Could get a pre-paid cell phone. Would any of you worry about having a provider contact your office for verification?

out your employment information. There are other ways of verifying, and if she is insisting, just move on. There are plenty of other providers to see. If things go wrong, your info can land on the infamous Black Lists.

Final decision is yours..

I certainly wouldnt make a habit of it but if this was a girl I HAD to see, yeah, I would do it. There are only a few dozen girls in the country that I would do it for. It really is just a question of how much YOU want to see her. Doesnt matter what anyone else thinks.

I recently saw a top provider and her screener asked for work phone, which I reluctantly provided but ask her if she calls, please use other phone that the one is cached in Google and linked to an Escort ... That's what she did, and fortunately I had an excellent time with the lady -- the review is on the works -- But, I think now I would not do it again. No everybody accepts P411, which is a shame. It had eased me access to top escorts.

FYI, if you don't plan on ripping her off or killing her, you really don't have much to worry about from most reputable ladies. The only guys who have to worry about their info. getting around are the ones who do stupid shit to providers. For some women, this is how they lessen the risk.

OTOH, there are a few 'obsessed with high scores' providers who might use that info to blackmail you for a good review, but word will get out about such ladies and they risk being banned or worse. Once your info is out there though, a bit too late to think of ways to hurt her, so don't do anything that makes you uncomfortable. If you have ZERO references though, I would never risk seeing someone that new even with a verification from a screening site. Many women will accept those sites with no refs though.

If you are not comfortable, then ask her for an alternate way to screen.  Or just walk.  This is a free market.  You don't have to book her, and she doesn't need to book you.

As far as whether I would worry...depends on the provider.

There is not a reason to to not give out your work info generally. Though for this reason I would start with p411 and maybe 1-2 reputable providers so you don't have to worry about the possibility of the info being misused as much. All they do with the info is verify it is accurate. I had a provider or two call my work and ask for me and then when they were transferred to me they hung up as they knew at that point that the info was legit. In the case of p411 they asked me a few questions first to verify I was the person who filled out the form rather then just assume I was as anyone technically could have given out that info.

In no case did they call in and say "Hi this is Dawn, I am an escort and your employee would like to set a date with me but I wanted to make sure he was a real guy before I let him come over and pay me money for my time" and I honestly don't know why some guys seem to think that is how the conversation will go...

In regards to your request to have them call from a different line...I have to ask. Does your receptionist really have nothing better to do then sit there and google the phone number of every person who calls? And even if they don't. The provider or p411 can easily dial a code to block their number for that call.

If I had to guess, I'm thinking the risk he is worried about is if something goes wrong down the road....provider thinks she was wronged by him.....or he does something in a session (or at anytime for that matter) to piss her off, she would have his work information.  Even if word got back to her on something he may have done (even if it wasn't true), you just never know how someone might react.

He may be a great guy and she might be the best provider in the land, but there is no guarantee that things couldn't go wrong somehow in the future.

Is the risk high?  Probably not.  Only that person can make the choice, though (as many in this thread have said).

There is no guarantee no. That said, this is part of why people recommend starting with highly reviewed and regarded providers. If you establish yourself with the best, you will minimize risk of this type AND have a better experience while getting into this and figuring out what you like.
