I've gone on the record saying that aliases have value.  However, on this particular board, I think a word of caution is in order.

When someone starts a thread operating under an alias, perhaps you should ask why that's the case.

Even without aliases, we should be cautious. It's too easy for someone to get an ID and post fake reviews. Caution is the word.

Reminds me of the weiner on the DC board asking for multiple petite ladies. Very weird and some twit suggested a gal.
