Why she didn't answer my call?sad_smile

I'm a newbie of hobbyist  and intrigued by a very attractive provider's Ad recently. She has very good reviews. Last weekend I made a phone call to her to set up an appointment at today morning. She agreed and texted me her in-call address. She didn't asked for screening or verification. I was very happy and took day-off today. I drove to her town half hour before the time and called her. She didn't answer, then I left a message. Half hour later, one hour later, and 1 and 1/2 hour later I made more calls and there were no answers. I texted her that I was waiting for her and hope she call back to me. Till now I got nothing from her.

I am very disappointed and frustrated. Why she disappeared from me? Based on her reviews she is a very professional and responsible. I guess maybe she forgot screening me at first and then got hidden from me. Can any veteran give me any advise? Shall I contact h later?

I usually don't see guys that keep calling because it make me feel rushed. Once I feel rushed I feel paranoid and put you in the potential LE category. It's best to call if you do not get an answer send a single text anything else is kinda overboard. However, I can understand your frustration but providers over no garuntees as this is a no strings attached business. Did you even arrive at her place? Just curious...

Thanks Jayla for your understanding. She did give me address of her building but no room#. I just don't understand why she did like that? I think "no show" is too increditable for a professional provider.

you made way too many calls.  Yes, when this happens it is very frustrating, but shit happens, and it happens on both sides of the fence.  As far as why she did that to you, we can only guess.  She may have done some screening research on you and decided not to see you.

Many providers will simply ignore communications from guys they no longer want to see, I know, it's happened to me.

Time to move on.

You called 4 times the day of ... 30 minutes before and left a message then again about every 30 minutes??? That is a bit much but then again only 2 of them were before or at the appt time which is ok. Since she didn't respond the first time it makes sense to call again. It is possible something came up and she was unable to contact you right away.  Now maybe she is a bit freaked out by all the calls and messages.

My advice ... confirm confirm confirm ... I like to call, text, or email the day of (hours before) to confirm. It has saved me so much time.

I had an appt with a regular today and about 2 hours before our meeting (an hour before I called to give my address) I dropped my work cell in the hot tub =( Not only was he unable to get ahold of me I could not contact him because I didn't have his info any place else. I bought another cell but still waiting for the service to finish switching to my new cell. I'm sure he will understand as I'm prompt and professional. But in the mean time he is scratching his head.

So now I need to figure out a good system for saving client info safely.

Well, while I am sorry for you bri, this is great to know as from now on every time I don't get a call back I will automatically assume their phone fell in a hot tub and get on with my day with my ego still intact ;)  Bri, you're a lifesaver.
