Why no DFK?

I am fairly new to the hobby, although I have seen a few providers and posted a couple of reviews here. One thing I am curious about...it seems like with some women DFK tends to be off the menu, even when DATY isn't.  I don't think it's a bad-breath thing, as I always brush right before a meeting.  I understand the "no fluid exchange" thing, and respect it.  Also understand some women might not like DFK after DATY.  But if a woman allows DATY, why not DFK?  Potential for different disease transmission?  Too "intimate"?  Just not her thing?  Was just curious, and thought some of you might help shed some light.

Thanks and happy holidays.

That is to say some gals feel it is too personal and shun it while others seem to relish it and can't get enough of it.

Don't discount the breath freshness aspect however.

I have a long time regular that would never kiss.  She explained that it was nothing personal, that she just didn't like it which was OK with me as we had a wonderful time anyways.

Then one day I got turned on to a great toothpaste and mouthwash made by a company called Therabreath, and started using it.  Since then I've found a lot of gals, including the one alluded to above, very interested in kissing.

I heartily recommend Therabreath products to anyone interested in DFK.

Also, lay off garlic.  Garlic stays in the blood stream for days and works it's way into your breath through the lungs, so no amount of mouthwash or brushing is going to expel it.

Chew some cinnamon gum just before a date.  It leaves a great taste in the mouth for several minutes.

Please tell me why the sky is blue... the true definition of GFE... what lotto numbers I should pick...

Well, dog my cats, they do know why after all.

Many people feel that French kissing is the Most intimate thing that you can do.  I check reviews to confirm that the lady who I want to see does kiss, since I really enjoy it.

The ladies who I hang out with in the lifestyle (swingers) will not kiss you unless they have known you for a while.

... one of the lessons imparted to me during my Catholic high school education was that "prostitutes never kiss their customers" because kissing is a sign of genuine intimacy. Some experiences from life seemed to confirm this. In one episode of "All in the Family, " a man breaks into the Bunkers' house and, finding Edith alone, proceeds to assault her sexually. What Edith finds most objectionable is that the man insists on trying to kiss her. "Can't we do this without kissin'?" she pleads. In Mexico, Germany, and in the one hobby experience I had in the United States years ago kissing was out of the question (in the latter case, touching the pussy was, too).

I was delighted to discover, when I entered the hobby a few months ago, that kissing was not necessarily off the menu. Not only that, but that some providers actually enjoyed it. I can offer no hypotheses as to why or why not this is so. I don't think much about it. Kissing and cuddling are a deal-maker/breaker for me; I always look for them when reading reviews.

Thanks to all for the replies.  Based on your responses, I'm concluding that it is an emotional boundary, as opposed to a physical/disease-prevention one.  Interesting. I too will heed the advice of screening for this, as it's something important to me in the experience.  Thanks again.
