How can a newbie be inducted into the program?

That said, "by inducted into the program" can you be a little bit more clear?  

 
I am guessing that you are a guy looking how to have fun and be safe at the same time, but your handle isn't gender specific so I guess you could be a provider looking how to get the most use out of this site from the female POV.

 
Either way your question covers a lot of ground and questions that are a bit more specific are much easier to answer.

Like GaG said, generally you get quicker responses but things have been slower and perhaps old habits are dying a bit.

Still, pretty sure I was looking here less than 24 hours ago and didn't see anything new.

Last, a great starting point is to search the forms of Perfect Storm and then start madly PMing with whatever is on your mind at the moment Well, no, PLEASE DO NOT do that.

The top post, the TER Instructions Manual is a great place to start if you have not already skimmed though.

Also, just asking specific questions, and a general introduction on who you are -- providers, monger, completely new to the P4P world -- would go a long way. Just don't offer up anything that is real life (RL) related that could help anyone identify who you might be. Keep a separate hobby persona at least until you start understanding what the real risks are.

I wonder if some provider ended up with the handle of some monger who might be long since retired. I know this "shouldn't" happen, but perhaps it has

...and he was looking for tips from the women on the ad board.  Makes about as much sense as anything else this poster is doing.

While I am not around as often as I used to be I still check the newbie board daily and this post was not on the newbie board 4 days ago, or even 2 days ago. I think it popped on here late on Sunday 6/14. I was wondering why it said it posted 6/12. Now the posting date makes sense if it was sitting on another board for a few days. The post itself didn’t make sense. When I saw it Sunday night, I had no clue how to answer it. The question was extremely vague and I clicked on the handle and noticed that handle had posts going back to 2009, so I didn’t know if it was somebody trolling us or what.

I checked with admin and they confirm there is no "provider" profile with that handle. They don't have any better idea than the rest of us about why he posted on that board, or what he really means by getting "inducted"  

 
Remember, "There are no stupid questions on the Newbie Board" but there are some very confusing ones. lol

Not quite a newbie, but I have been away from the hobby for a long time. Checked in once in a while but during that time I saw the board go down, a lot of things have changed. I want back in as a hobbyist but recognize that there is some change. Also, I’m in a new city so that also changes things.

You might check with the regional board for local situation but other than that I'm not sure anything has changed to the point what you knew before doesn't apply today. Again, you are pretty short on specifics so may sit back and think of some more specific questions about what seems to have changed and has you stumped.
